Cleveland Video Company returned to University of Mount Union for a new project, this time exploring how artificial intelligence is changing the way students learn. Over the course of three videos, the team set out to show how AI is helping students learn faster, understand more, and engage more deeply with their coursework across three very different academic programs: exercise science, data science, and language courses.
The Goal
Mount Union wanted more than a single highlight reel. They wanted a series that could speak to prospective students, current students, and faculty alike, showing that the university isn't just talking about the AI movement in higher education, it's actively putting it into practice. Each video needed to:
Highlight a different academic department already using AI in the classroom
Feature real professors explaining how they're incorporating AI into their teaching
Feature real students sharing how AI tools have changed the way they learn
Our Game Plan
For each all 3 videos, the team interviewed four professors from the relevant department, along with students who could speak firsthand to how AI has shaped their coursework. Alongside the interviews, the crew captured b-roll of professors and students actually using AI tools in real classroom moments, giving each video a grounded, authentic feel rather than a scripted one.
The Final Result
The finished series gives University of Mount Union three distinct, polished videos that work individually or together as a campaign, each one showing a different corner of campus where AI is already helping students learn better and faster. For a university competing for prospective students in a crowded higher-ed landscape, the series positions Mount Union as a school that's not just aware of where education is headed, but already there.
