When companies want to help their teams grow, sometimes the most effective tool is a conversation. We recently worked with Netwrix to record an internal podcast featuring members of their engineering team, focused on how they are using AI in their day-to-day work and across the company. Netwrix wanted to create a resource that would help their teams better understand AI, use it more efficiently, and apply it in ways that support growth and collaboration.

A Note on Confidentiality

This podcast was created exclusively for internal use at Netwrix, so the full recording cannot be shared publicly. In this blog, we will include behind-the-scenes photos and screenshots only, giving a look at the setup and production without revealing any confidential content.

About the Client

Netwrix is a cybersecurity software company that helps organizations identify, manage, and reduce security risks related to data, identities, and infrastructure. Their tools give IT and security teams better visibility and control so they can protect sensitive data, meet compliance requirements, and respond faster to threats.

The Goal

This podcast was designed specifically for internal use. Netwrix wanted a long-form conversation where their engineering team could openly discuss how AI fits into their workflows, how they are experimenting with it responsibly, and how it is helping different teams become more efficient and effective.

Our Game Plan

To support a thoughtful, technical conversation, we built a setup that prioritized audio clarity, multiple cameras, and reliability over long recording sessions.

Here’s how we approached it:

  • Four Shure microphones, one for each speaker

  • Two cameras to capture multiple angles and keep the conversation visually engaging

  • Clean, controlled lighting for a professional look

  • A simple, distraction-free set to keep the focus on the discussion

The conversation ran for approximately one hour and forty minutes, so stability and consistency were key. Our role was to make sure everything ran smoothly in the background so the guests could stay focused on sharing their insights.

Lessons Learned

Projects like this are a great reminder that video and podcast production is not always about public-facing content.

Here are a few key takeaways:

  • Internal podcasts are powerful tools for education and alignment

  • Clear audio matters even more than visuals for long-form conversations

  • A simple, reliable setup helps speakers stay comfortable and focused
